What is your preferred drink?
A tasty rum, like El Dorado 15.
If you had to choose another city other than London to live in, which would it be?
Berlin. I love everything about it. Especially the music and club scene, along with the locals’ laid back and friendly approach to life.
How long have you been working as a barber? Where and when did you start?
Nearly four years now. I began my career at Electric Hairdressing.
Who’s your hairstyle icon?
I’m still a big fan of the great Boardwalk Empire styling.
How would you describe your own personal style?
“Modern Dappa”
What’s your favourite shop in London?
Phonica. You can never leave empty handed. One more record is always justified.
What was the last play, exhibition or gig you went to in London?
I went to ‘Club to Catwalk’ at the V&A, also the Adidas Trainer exhibition at Hackney Gallery.
What do you think makes a good barber?
Understanding the client’s vision for their hair, creating strong shapes and structure, attention to detail and being a perfectionist.
Which item of clothing do you most like wearing?
A jazzy shirt.

What is your guilty pleasure?
DJ’ing (not so guilty)
Describe your perfect day off?
Good tunes, best friends, a nice beverage, that’s all you need.
What person living or deceased would you most like to share an evening with?
Nile Rodgers – the disco legend.
What’s your favourite area in London?
I would have to say East as that’s where I spend most of my time, Southbank is always a treat though!
